Shadow Oaks Elementary teacher named November Teachers Driving Success winner

The Spring Branch ISD Community Engagement team has announced Jordan Pruett, a first-year second grade teacher from Shadow Oaks Elementary, as the November Teachers Driving Success winner.

“I am so grateful to receive this recognition!,” said Pruett. “I have learned so much this year and I am excited to implement my knowledge in the classroom. My students are always eager to learn, which makes it all worth it.”

In recognition of her dedication and drive for success, Pruett received a $300 gas card and a gift basket from Sterling McCall Lexus, this month’s program sponsor.

“Ms. Pruett is a brand new teacher who started her teaching career this school year. She was a late hire and has jumped in full throttle,” said Mandy Antolini, Shadow Oaks principal. “The time and care she has put into her classroom and our scholars has been amazing. Her desire to learn and collaborate with all stakeholders has displayed her passion of wanting success for Every Child. We are so fortunate to have found her!”

Teachers Driving Success is a monthly teacher appreciation program sponsored by SBISD Good Neighbor and partner Sterling McCall Group, which recognizes classroom teachers and their efforts to help students prosper.

Each month, principals are invited to nominate one classroom teacher from their campus for the way in which they are driving success. The Community Engagement team conducts a monthly lottery drawing from nominations received to choose the Teachers Driving Success award winner.

We thank Sterling McCall Group for their sustained support of our educators! Learn more about the Teachers Driving Success program
